Vegan jewelry: being beautiful and ethical is possible :)

What does the term "vegan jewelry" really mean? In this article, we'll talk about jewelry that respects animals and the planet. Ready to dive into the fabulous world of vegan jewelry?

Materials without animal suffering: Vegan jewelry is made with materials that do not come from animals. No more leather, animal-based beads, ivory, tortoiseshell or fish-based glue (yes, it exists!) I say no to all that… Instead, I use plant-based alter-leather: cork from Portugal (we don't cut down the tree, we peel it), Piñatex (woven pineapple fibers recovered after the harvest) and grape alter-leather (for my handbags - see my new brand Bye Bye Monique ), for the wood, when I started the brand adventure I bought boards, but after visiting 2/3 stores, I finally decided to recover scraps, seeing all the waste! #itsalwaysbetter

Ethical and responsible manufacturing: My vegan jewelry goes further than cruelty-free materials. I manufacture in my workshop, with materials that I have chosen for transparency in their traceability and their environmental impact. I have voluntarily excluded suppliers of brass findings from Asia (the vast majority of what is available on the market and which supplies European jewelry brands) for reasons of carbon impact on the one hand and because you have to go and see on site to be sure of the working and environmental conditions of the production. And going to China to see if the brass is produced correctly did not really fit with the values of my brand! As for packaging, if you have already ordered from me you certainly know the small pyramid boxes that I use. They are made in France and recyclable. I stamp them by hand. I chose to avoid jewelry boxes which are often made with different materials (cardboard and foam) and are therefore less recyclable. I try to do my best to have the smallest footprint possible... Even on my website, I decided not to put videos, because it takes more bandwidth and therefore more energy! Be careful, not all vegan brands take the eco-friendly approach this far, just know :)

Expressing your values through your jewelry: Wearing vegan jewelry is more than just a style statement… It’s a way to show the world that you care about animals and the environment. It’s a statement of values, it’s consciously choosing not to contribute to animal suffering and supporting responsible fashion, in my case, artisanal fashion made in France. Basically, it’s being a badass with style and heart!

Conclusion: Vegan jewelry is the combination

perfect between beauty and ethics. By wearing them, we display our style with great values. With materials without animal suffering, ethical manufacturing and varied designs, my jewelry is a way to make a positive difference in the fashion industry. #madeinfrance #crueltyfreefashion
