Asymmetrical jewelry, dresses, buildings…Asymmetry: the essential trend of the moment
by Array
·
There are many things that inspire me. Fashion and architecture are some of them. I don't necessarily follow trends in my creations but when I identify elements that are original enough to transform into jewelry, I don't hesitate. The asymmetrical jewelry I created came out of my imagination after identifying
a captivating trend that is emerging and gaining momentum: asymmetry. This unconventional approach challenges traditional norms of symmetry and brings a touch of originality and dynamism to contemporary creations. Whether in clothing design, modern architecture or even art, asymmetry has become an essential element for those seeking individuality and audacity. Here is a little tour of what led me to create the asymmetrical jewelry present on the e-shop!
1. Asymmetry in Fashion :
I like unique things. In fashion, asymmetry manifests itself through a variety of cuts, patterns, and details that break with traditional symmetry. From one-shoulder dresses to uneven-hem skirts to button-down shirts, designers are pushing the boundaries of symmetry to create unique and captivating silhouettes.

2. Asymmetry in Architecture :
In the field of architecture, asymmetry plays a key role in the creation of innovative and contemporary structures. Iconic buildings such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, designed by Frank Gehry (or his "dancing house"), or the Centre Pompidou in Paris, designed by Renzo Piano, exemplifies the masterful use of asymmetry to create organic and dynamic forms. Contemporary architects are increasingly incorporating asymmetry into their designs to create unique spaces that defy convention. and inspire the imagination.

3. Asymmetry in Art :
In the art world, asymmetry offers artists a blank canvas to explore new forms of expression. From abstract paintings to contemporary sculptures,
Asymmetry always causes the unexpected, visual accidents that I find very interesting.
Asymmetry is used to create dynamic and evocative visual compositions. Emerging artists such as https://www.lemonde.fr/sciences/article/2018/04/16/l-asymetrie-est-al-origine-de-la-vie_5286171_1650684 .html
explore the infinite possibilities of asymmetry to provoke emotions and reflections in viewers.
Asymmetry is more than just a passing trend; it’s a creative approach that defies convention and opens new perspectives in fashion, architecture and art. So here is my version of asymmetry, to add fun and originality to all your outfits with, as a bonus, ads that I created on this theme… Do you like it?
Do you recognize?
Yes it's Riri, perfectly symmetrical. Meh right?
In any case, it’s the perfect excuse to highlight my asymmetrical creations!
